We went saw Toy Story 3! I was very impressed with it, I even got really teary eyed at the end! Actually, I balled like Baby! I would have to say it was my favorite kids movie to date, it even was better than "UP"! The kids enjoyed it also! We will be definitely getting the movie when it comes out in DVD!

Sam and Giselle taking it all in.
We had a fantastic time in the UP! The kids just loved it. We only got to go to the Island one day because we ended up leaving early due to Giselle having a fever our last night there. The first day there we wanted for Mike to get out of work, and by the time we went to the local attractions they were all closed. So we just enjoyed the Beauty of Michigan! Our second day, The kids and I took the ferry over to the Island. Sam was so overwhelmed with all the horses. We took a carriage ride throughout the Island, which was very educational and interesting. Afterwards, I took the kids on a bike ride around the island, it was more than 8 miles and they fell asleep within the first 2. I didn't realize until later how much my legs would be on fire for riding around the island with 50 pounds of cargo attached to my bike. That night I thought I was going to DIE. Mike got to the island later, we did some more riding around than ate dinner and took the last ferry back to town. The third day we went to the falls and Oswald bear ranch. Both were amazing. The fourth day we were suppose to go back to the island while Mike wrapped things up, but with Giselle with a fever and vomiting all night... we opted to go home instead and get her to the doctors just in case she had caught something from the previous days. It ended up the she just had a viral infection.

The Myers' Saga Continues!
June has just begun and our summer calendar is full! We are starting out the month with our first business trip with Mike. We have no idea what to expect, but we are so excited to tag along instead of him being alone for a week. We will be traveling to St. Ignace, MI. The kids and I will be going to Mackinac Island for a couple of days while Mike conducts business, then he will meet us on the island when he is done! We are also going to explore the Upper Peninsula on the other days .
When we get back, Sam is getting his first cavity filled, one of his teeth never calcified therefore a cavity has formed. Let's hope all goes well.
Our last June highlight would be Toy Story 3 comes out in Movie theatres. We can hardly wait!
Sam will be 4 this September. So far we have discovered that he is our negotiator, a typical conversation with Sam would be...
Sam:"Mom, Look at me... Mama, Look at ME".
Mama: "Yes, Sam".
Sam: "How 'bout, You and Gigi clean the house & Dada & I go golfing... Does that sound Good"?
Mama:"No... how 'bout you pick up your mess & then Dad & you can go golfing".
Sam:"No, that doesn't sound good. Gigi pick up my mess for me, and ...."
Gigi: "I go golfing too..... cry".
Sam is very compassionate, giving and kind hearted.
His diet hasn't really changed. He is still our little vegan. We are consistently trying to get him to eat new things, little by little we are succeeded. We got him to eat a bite of chicken the other day! This was BIG!
He likes to wear his underwear backwards, he loves the color "cubs" blue!
He is consistently wanting to wear sweatsuits, jeans or long sleeved shirts on 80 degree days, we have to negotiate everyday his attire.
Sam still loves horses, especially white ones but Loves bullseye (brown horse) on Toy Story.
He loves playing baseball and golf (thanks to his Abuelo, Papa & Dada).
He loves books, puzzles, Lincoln logs, train, the ipod touch and tiger woods on wii.
He hates to be the center of attention, unless he is at home.
Giselle will turn 2 in July! OMG! Her vocabulary blows any typical 2 year old out the window. A typical conversation would be:
Giselle: "Mama, ma hair on fire".
Mama: "What"
Giselle: "ma hair on fire, it's HOT"
Mama: "Oh, go in the shade"
Giselle: "Where ma sunglasses, da sun in ma eyes"
Mama: "Here, Go and I will be there in a second"
Giselle: "COME ON............COME ON MAMA"!
Giselle is very passionate, strong willed and independent.
There has not been a day yet where she hasn't cried. LOL! Our little Drama Queen.
Her favorite colors are fairytale pinks and "cubs" blue (just because Sam loves it so much).
She eats almost anything under the sun.
She won't wear thong sandals and has decided that it is not time to give up her diaper.
She LOVES purse, jewelry, shoes, lipsticks and lotions.
She loves cameras, the leap frog hand held and movies.
She too love Toy Story and is a fan of Jessie, Buzz "light year" and Bullseye.
Giselle also loves to be the center of attention. When she walk in a room, she wants all eyes on her.
They are literally night (Sam) & day (Giselle). They are so different, that they get along so well with eachother. We could have not planned it any better, they live for eachother and love eachother so much. At first, it was so hard because they were only 22 months apart, but now we are able to see the plan God has for us with them. They have changed our world forever, and we are truely blessed that we were the chosen ones for them.
Things to look forward to for the month of July!
The 4th of July, Giselle Birthday, Another Trip with Dada for Business, and our vacation to Dreyer Lake.

Memorial Day 2010
As you can see, it took awhile for the kids to cooperate in the picture. I would have to say this is the best one they took with Dada!
I would have to say that this would be the BEST Memorial Day Weekend EVER! We started it out with going over to a friend house for some fun in the sun with the kids and a BBQ, then we had family over on Sunday for some fun in the pool. We woke up Monday with no electricity from a bad storm the night before. We ended up going 28 hours without any power, therefore, we spent the night @ Papa & Nana House and had a fabulous time! We were 2 to 1 with the kids, which was so much nicer than our 1 to 1! I was able to iron Mike's clothes for work without being disturb. The kids had a bath and got ready for bed while I painted my nails. We woke up to Papa getting the kids Freshly made Donuts. For a minute, I didn't want the power to come back on. It was a GREAT Memorial Day weekend!
