Just Breath!

Back in April 2007, I had my wisdom teeth removed. The only problem was that on the upper half of my right jaw I had a Orthodontic Cyst that was partially in my jaw and in my sinus. After 7 month of going back and forth with the Oral Surgeon and the ENT, they came up with the conclusion that I had Sinusitis and was in need of Sinus Surgery! GREAT, I was going to be able to breath again. NOT SO MUCH, when I was doing my pre surgical protocol they discovered that I was pregnant and would NOT be able to have the SURGERY! Another 10 months until we could schedule the surgery. FINALLY, on December 10th 2008 I went under the knife. At first, I'm not going to lie, Life was BLISS, pain medication, SLEEP, no kids, Chocolate Milkshakes, a bell to ring for Mike to come to my every need, did I say SLEEP! After a day or two, I was able to take myself off the pain medication, but soon came the stuffiness, the dry mouth, the kids, the ears popping, the oozing, the packing string taped to my cheek and I felt it pulling, the stints were stitched inside and were preventing me from breathing through my nose. I felt MISERABLE! I had thought that I was going to get a Million and 1 things accomplished while I was off from work. I accomplished Nothing, Zip, Zelch, Zero. I went 6 days in Misery, A loooong 6 days when it would all come out. And when it all did, I just breathed! I went all the way home with my mouth closed and enjoyed breathing through my nose. Something I hadn't done in almost 2 years!

Christmas Photo Shot!

At first, I thought about having the kids lay in the snow for their Christmas Photo, but then we wouldn't be able to see their coordinating outfits! So we went to plan B, which was to get them together in a photo. Again, PLAN FAILED. Then the goal was to get one cute picture of each of them. I couldn't get G's to Smile if it was to save my life and each time Sam smiled his eyes would close! I still say the Best one was Rockne, what a dog can do for a treat! I tell ya. As soon as I had the Christmas cards signed, sealed and delivered Mike had to show off how he could get G's to smile in an instant. Where was he during the Photo Shot? All in all, we did get some cute pictures. Here are just a few!

It has only just begun!

Abuelo's is off from work and is back taking care of the kids! This time it is double the trouble! If I can say so myself, he is doing pretty good in coordinating their care. I called to see how things were with the kids, and this is generally when I can hear Sammy in the background crying for me but not this time. I couldn't believe it. I asked Abuelo if Sammy wanted to talk with me, I hear Abuelo ask him and Sammy respond with "No Uelo, Mama E" meaning "No Abuelo, I don't want to talk to Mom, I am watching Horses"! So I ask Abuelo what show would be so interesting that he would have no care in the world that I exist! He replies with "BONANZA"!

Mrs. Moerman turns 60!

Mrs. Moerman blowing out her candles!
Robin, I and Lisa!

Michael John!
We took advantage of getting an invitation to celebrate Mrs. Moerman's 60th by going out and having a GREAT night. We hadn't been out in such a long time, we almost forgot about the life we use to live before Sammy & Gigi came around. But it soon came back to us a soon as the clock hit midnight and we realized that their was a 99% chance we would be up by 7:30 am that morning. We enjoyed it while it lasted, that's for sure!

O Christmas Tree!

After working a 12 hour shift on Thanksgiving, and then waking up at 3:30 am to get some Holiday deals on Black Friday. I was ready to crash and burn by noon. But I had no such luck for we had planned to get our Christmas tree at Hart's Farm! When we arrived, I had noticed that I had forgotten to pack Giselle snowsuit, so G's and I stayed in the car while Sammy and Mike went to get our Christmas Tree!

Sammy picked out the tree!
Mike cut it down

Our Cousin Vinny!

Congratulations to Omar, Jessie & Ella for the birth of the newest edition to their Family.
Vincente Catarino was born on November 23rd at 7:34 PM, weighing in at 6 pounds and 11 ounces and measuring in at 19 inches. Omar, Jessie and Vinny are doing well, for Ella, she is the princess and reminds us every time we see her! Like everything else, she will adjust on her own terms.

Christmas Parade!

We went to the Christmas Parade thinking that their were going to be a lot of floats, not so much. We did see a lot of girl scouts, news anchor people and dogs. After awhile, we started getting cold, therefore didn't make it to see the main attraction, Santa!

Chunky Monkey!

We went to see Dr. App for Giselle's 4 month checkup! She is now 15 lbs 3 oz and 24 3/4 inches long. I can't even remember what percentile she falls in because I was mesmerized with the numbers! ( Thanks Aunt Mary for the phone pics)

News Alert!

Aunt Megan had accumulated more vacation days than she knew what to do with so she offered to watch the kiddies the days Mike and I worked. So every once and awhile, I get a picture! These are some of my favorites!

Barack Obama may have won the Presidential Election but the Myers' Household has even bigger news! Gisy has two teeth coming in. For the last 3 nights, we had our sugar and spice be everything but nice! We couldn't figure out what was going on until I put my finger into her mouth and felt 2 sharp teeth on the bottom. She not even 4 months old! Grandma Rome was right all along, we just couldn't believe it would happen so fast!

Cowboy Sam!

Cowboy Sam getting ready for his big Night!

Sammy and his Godfather Paul (it's nice when your Godfather lives in your neighborhood, Sammy got extra candy!!!)

Dada and the nicest devil I ever met. Giselle went back and forth from a devil and a pumpkin. It all depended on what outfit was clean at the time.

Cowboy Sam & Ian (one of the boys next door) .

At first, he was scared of the horse but with lots of time, he started to love it. This was Sam's first time going trick or treating or as Sam would say it " eat a treat". He only lasted for 8 houses then he wanted to go home but he made out like a bandit. We filled a our huge white bowl with candy, unfortunately, now he knows what candy is. And he loves it!
