Great Grandma Mare's Sweater!

This is Giselle when I told her that she had to take off Grandma Mare's sweater!

To give Abuelo a break during the week, and to keep him for having a nervous breakdown, Rome and Mare are watching the kids on Thursday while I go to school in the morning. The first Thursday, when I got home, Giselle was completely naked with only Grandma Mare's sweater on. They said she just wanted to wear the sweater and took off all of her clothes. She looked like "ET"! It was just too cute!

Happy Birthday, Dada!

This year, Sammy & I made a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for Dada! His favorite! They were brown horses with green sprinkles. One was large and the other was small, Just like Sammy and Dada! Sam just loved them & so did we! Giselle would rather eat, than make, so she made sure to enjoy the cake and did she ever! We also got some yum yum Italian Beefs from Windy City Grill for Dinner! Next week Dada starts his new job as a Marketing Consultant for Diocesan Publication, Inc. We are all so excited, especially that I get to go shopping for some new clothes! Any excuse for me to shop, is always something FANTASTIC! He will be on the road for the first 3 weeks, Mon-Thursday! But thank goodness, Abuelo is not working. He will be watching the kids while I work and go to school! It is a crazy life, but we wouldn't want it anyother way;)

"Pant"

This was back during Christmas time. I was in our bedroom when I heard Sam & Giselle laughing. I came into the living room to see Dada playing with the kids. He was swinging them in the air and they were loving it, until Sam pulled Giselle's pants off and she couldn't get over the fact she had no pants and keep yelling "pant".

A New Decade has Begun!

Happy New Year to all! And what a year it will be! We started the new year with a Bang! Samuel Lucas is Potty Trained, the first day he had several accidents but after day 3, he was on a roll yelling "pee pee" while running to the toilet. He is enjoying wearing underwear, sometimes he even will wear them backwards to have the characters on the front, Mike and I don't mind, we are just happy to say that his diaper days are behind us! Dada has just accepted a new job working for DPI a.k.a. Diocesan Publicans Incorporated in there Sales and Marketing Department as a Sales Rep (They are the company that does the bulletin for the church on Sunday mass). It will consist of some travel but they provide a company car. He is excited, and so are we. Giselle is a Princess, she is into her clothes and accessories. She is very vibrant and passionate about life. Her vocabulary is growing at lightning speed. Rockne is on Iams weight control for a weight loss plan, but it doesn't help when the kids are constantly thinking it is their job to feed him. Aunt Megan has moved out and we have turned her old room into the kids playroom/my scrapbook/sewing room. I get just a little corner, but it's better than nothing. Tia Flora & Carlos went to Mexico to visit Hacienda De Carmen and have set a date for their wedding, December 2010. Mary and Eric got engaged on New Years Eve Night and are planning their wedding for January 2011.
